Canadian Frailty Network (CFN) – Mitacs Accelerate Internships

Mitacs Accelerate Research Internships provide support to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows who are undertaking research projects in collaboration with industry and eligible not-for-profit partners. Internships are available in four-month blocks and can be combined for single or multiple students. Each block is valued at $15,000 ($7,500 provided by both Mitacs and the industry partner) and can be used for both the student stipend, as well as a portion of research costs.

CFN will assist with application matching among industry, research investigators, supervisors and students interested in pursuing  frailty-related research projects. Interns who receive a CFN-Mitacs Accelerate Internship can have their projects showcased at the CFN Annual Conference and can participate in training modules as part of the CFN HQP Program.
