Mitacs International Mobility Award (IMA)

MITACS is offering International Mobility Awards to assist researchers who want to apply to Horizon Europe Pillar 2 and need to travel to join a consortium. Up to $5000 CAD is available per applicant (or $10,000 CAD for 2 applicants – one researcher and one small to medium company or two researchers) to support airfare, accommodations, per diems, and participation in key events organized by Horizon Europe National Contact Points (NCPs), the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), and EU research institutions. Eligible activities include:

• Identifying and meeting potential partners

• Participating in consortium-building workshops

• Developing proposals and aligning R&D priorities

• Visiting institutions, research centers, or sites related to Horizon calls
