Program Type: Research and Innovation Action

Research Areas: Projects should study a range of common space projects in at least three EU Member States or Associated Countries, collecting data to better understand how common social spaces impact community cohesion, social interactions, active civic participation, security, and belonging. Projects should also explore how different groups, including the underrepresented and vulnerable, use and experience common spaces and how variations in use over the year influence community cohesion. Research should result in recommendations on the regeneration of common spaces in neighborhoods. Social sciences and humanities expertise is required.

Total Funding Available: €10.5M for 3 projects of €3.5M each
