Program Type: Research and Innovation Actions  

Research Areas: Projects should improve tools and training for security practitioners in Europe to prevent criminal or terrorist offences, enhance understanding of the social aspects of crime or terrorism/radicalization, support policymakers on shaping regulation, and/or create awareness-raising campaigns explaining to citizens how to protect against crime or terrorism/radicalization. Coordination is expected with other funded projects, Europol, and other relevant security authorities. Activities are expected to achieve TRL 5. Proposals are expected to address one of the following:

  1. Societal issues related to crime.
  2. Societal issues related to terrorism and radicalization.

Total Funding Available: €12M EURO for 4 grants
