Description

This program funds innovative research of a "high-risk, high-reward" nature that will have an impact on the prevention or treatment of diseases in the areas of allergy and clinical immunology with the exception of asthma.

There are two awards available for a maximum of $75,000 each. One award is allocated for a primarily basic science research project and one award is allocated for a primarily clinical research project. Investigators can apply for only one of these grants and should choose the category for which the work proposed most closely fits the description. It is understood that some grants may have elements of both types of research.
