The Horizon Europe 2025 calls for proposals are planned to be opening later in May. At that time, hundreds of calls will come open that Canadians will be able to apply to as part of a consortium with European partners. Learn about the process on the Horizon Europe Intranet pages. Program Type:   Research and Innovation Actions

Research Areas: Develop pilots, guidance, and innovative toolkits, including use cases, checklists, and algorithms, addressing Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) needs and facilitate interaction among artists, AI developers, cultural institutions, and third parties to promote knowledge transfers and enhance AI-powered innovation in CCI. Proposals should involve representatives from the arts and cultural heritage, to ensure their central role in activity development. Proposals need not cover all CCI but may focus on a specific area for thorough analysis.
