NSERC / National Science Foundation - Collaboration on Quantum Science and Artificial Intelligence
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)
This new NSERC-NSF collaborative research opportunity will support new collaborations between researchers in Canada and the United States through a flexible, streamlined application process. This opportunity focuses specifically on discoveries and innovations in the areas of artificial intelligence and quantum science. Proposals must include eligible applicants from both Canada and the US. The collaborative opportunity, and the areas of research that can be supported through this initiative are fully described in the Dear Colleague Letter (DCL) available on the NSF website. Award values and project duration vary by NSF program.
Submission Process for ????Canadian Researcher/Team Lead:
- LOI Deadline: 8 weeks prior to planned submission of application to the NSF
- Must be submitted through the NSERC Online System
- Timing varies by program
- Review and feedback by ORS is not required but available. Please submit 5 business days prior to planned submission date.
- If invited to submit a full application, forward Invitation to Submit to the US team for the application submission.
Submission Process for US Researcher/Team Lead:
- Upon receiving Invitation to Submit: Submit full application, appending the NSERC Invitation to Submit
