Description

Through this funding opportunity, a pan-Canadian federated framework will be established and will follow the highest ethical and good governance standards. As an example, a key success factor will be the integration of the pan-Canadian core human genome consent elements. The adoption of the core consent elements that are clear and easy to understand will allow for maximal impact of the genomic sequencing done in Canada on research into health and disease and transfer of material findings to the healthcare system as a whole, as well as to individuals.
