Description

I2I grants provide funding to support research and development projects with recognized technology transfer potential. This is achieved through defined phases by providing crucial assistance in the early stages of technology validation and market connection. Applications will be developed in close collaboration with the University’s Partnerships & Innovation Office.

There are four distinct funding options, characterized by the maturity of the technology or the involvement of an early-stage investment entity or industrial partner:

  • Market Assessment
  • Phase I - reduction-to-practice stage
  • Phase IIa – technology enhancement – early-stage investment partner
  • Phase IIb – technology enhancement – partnership with Canadian company
