The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Hearing Restoration Research Program (HRRP) Focused Research Award (FRA) supports promising research that accelerates drug discovery and therapeutic development for hearing restoration after military-relevant auditory system injury.
Funding Level 1: Period of Performance: The maximum period of performance is 2 years. Cost Cap: The application’s total costs budgeted for the entire period of performance should not exceed $400,000 USD
Funding Level 2: Period of Performance: The maximum period of performance is 3 years. Cost Cap: The application’s total costs budgeted for the entire period of performance should not exceed $1.2M USD.
