Description

Forthcoming call - draft
RIA. Projects should develop water infrastructure that uses digital solutions and citizen science to face changes in hydraulic flow and pollution load from emerging contaminants. Research could integrate nature-based solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of water infrastructure or enhance the use of new monitoring tools, digital twin technology and/or AI for predictive analytics to optimize operation, infrastructure, pollution challenges, efficiency (including leaks, energy consumption, carbon footprint or recovery of materials). Projects could also develop tools to protect physical and digital water infrastructure against malicious threats.
