Description

The CIHR Research Excellence, Diversity and Independence (REDI) Early Career Transition Award Program is intended to advance scientific excellence and foster diversity in Canada’s research ecosystem, and support professional development and career progression of trainees to establish and sustain strong, independent research programs in academia. 

The maximum amount for the Phase 1 award is $270,000 for up to three years and the maximum amount for the Phase 2 award is $360,000 for up to three years.
