Program Type: Innovation Action

Research Areas: Demonstrate a solution for the local integration of a combination of renewable thermal/electrical/bio energy sources in industrial processes, possibly using renewable combined heat and power (CHP) generation, while optimizing process efficiency and reuse of excess heat, with the aim of drastically reducing fossil fuel use. The solution should ensure that the industrial process has very low GHG and other pollutant emissions, high reliability and safety, and high physical and cyber security. Activities are expected to achieve TRL 6-7.

Total Funding Available: €15M for 2 projects at €7.5M each
