Program Type: Research and Innovation Actions  

Research Areas: Projects should prepare critical infrastructures to withstand natural hazards, intentional and accidental harmful human actions, including cyberattacks. Infrastructure operators should have access to risk assessment and post-incident investigation tools and have a better understanding of the human factor for critical infrastructure resilience. Projects could mitigate insider threats by creating cost-efficient systems for background checks that are in full compliance with privacy. Coordination is encouraged with other funded projects and social sciences and humanities experts. Activities are expected to achieve TRL 5.
