Research Areas: Improve integration of long term (>12h) storage within the context of system wide optimization of grid enhancement strategies in synergy with power plant infrastructure and provide a sophisticated integrated cross-regional network and market model that can compare marginal abatement costs of different technologies and their combinations. Activities are expected to achieve TRL 5-6.
