Program Type: Research and Innovation Action

Within a collaborative public-private partnership consortium reflecting the cross-sectoral nature of the Innovative Health Initiative, applicants will contribute to one or more of the following impacts:

  • wider availability of interoperable, quality data, respecting FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) principles, facilitating the development of integrated products and services
  • using m-health and e-health technologies, improved insight into behaviour and challenges of patients with complex, chronic diseases and co-morbidities
  • advanced analytics/AI supporting health research, resulting in:
    • a) clinical decision support for increased accuracy of diagnosis and efficacy of treatment
    • b) shorter times to market
    • c) wider availability of personalized health interventions
    • d) better evidence of the added value from new digital health and AI tools, including reduced risk of bias

Projects should contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the EU’s health industry.

Total Funding Available: $12-22.5M CAD for 2 grants.
