Description

This is an opportunity to explore various events, challenges and impacts on Governance Systems (such as changes in technology, global crises, geopolitics) and to research avenues on how to make Governance Systems work better. Through an exploration of existing multidisciplinary research, applicants are to develop an understanding of how governance can affect different people and populations in a variety of environments.  This SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis grant is in partnership with Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

Stream 1 - Open to eligible Canadian post-secondary institutions

Stream 2 - Open to proposed projects with two researchers affiliated win an eligible Canadian institution and an eligible institution in the UK.

The maximum amount is $30,000 for one year
