Development and application of advanced structural and functional neuroimaging methods, including:
1. Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI)
2. functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI)
3. Myelin Water Imaging (MWI)
4. Voxel Based Morphometry (VBM)
Elucidating the neurophysiological bases of fMRI signals; in particular, those concerning:
1. Astrocytes (and Astrocyte-Neuron Interactions)
2. Neurometabolism (of Lactate in particular)
3. Neurovascular Coupling Mechanisms
